Easy to imagine but difficult to achieve, the Millerighe – Thousand stripes– is an essential pattern, which gives surfaces a precious feel without detracting from them, on the contrary enhancing the purity of the object’s design.
When it is made with the handmade guilloche, the millerighe decoration gives vividness and brightness to the surface, as well as a tone of classic elegance and at the same time refined.
Just in this period the millerighe is living a second – third or even fourth? – youth, characterizing the design of luxurious furnishings.
We will never tire of proposing it to the designers we work with, at the cost of seeming less than “creative”. As that famous architect said… “God is in the details” 😉
